AI agent glossary

AI agent

An AI agent is software that uses a language model to carry out a task in several steps, such as reading inputs, deciding what to do next and acting in other tools, rather than only answering one question.

Where a chatbot replies, an agent works through a job: it pulls data, drafts, routes and reports. How much it may do on its own is a design choice, not a property of the technology.

How we use it at DH Studios

DH Studios builds AI agents for operations. Each one does one workflow inside the systems a team already runs, and a person approves every hand-off.
