Mostly to routine work.
- Real estate leaders spend 66% of their time on routine operational and reactive work. (National Apartment Association, sponsored by AppFolio, Dec 2025)
- Asked for technology's most measurable benefit, the top answer was reduced manual work and time spent, at 45%. Respondents could pick more than one. (Buildium, 2026)

- What we measured ourselves: for Towne Properties, pricing reports built from Yardi, EliseAI and the pricing sheet went from 8+ hours by hand to 10 minutes per report, signed by the leasing lead. (DH Studios, 2026)
How fast do renters expect a reply?
Within a day, and often the same day.

- Employment of property, real estate and community association managers is projected to grow 4% from 2025 to 2035, with about 36,900 openings a year, many of them to replace workers who change occupations or leave the labor force. (US Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2025)
How big is the US rental market?

How we built this page
We used only numbers we could see on the publisher's own page, and we link to that page. Sources were last checked on the date at the top.
Where a survey was run or paid for by a company that sells AI or property management software, we say so beside it.
Surveys define "using AI" differently, so we don't line up their adoption rates as one trend.
We add new numbers as they're published and update the date at the top.
