DISCOVERY
About two weeks with your CAD, your product line, and the decision the 3D has to help a buyer make — configure, compare, or simply believe.
Output: a one-page pilot brief. The model set, the interactions, where it embeds.
Live 3D · product configurators · Cincinnati, Ohio
A 3D product configurator lets a buyer pick the colorway, add the accessory and turn the product to any angle, live in the browser, before they order. DH Studios builds them on the same CAD the product is built from, rendered with React Three Fiber on Three.js. Not a video. The product, live.
One product first. Then the line.
How it's built — CAD → web file → browser
Your own product files: the STEP, the FBX, or the GLB from a configurator you already run. What the buyer sees is the geometry the factory builds from.
Decimated to what a screen can resolve, materials normalised, Draco-compressed. Hundreds of megabytes of CAD become a file under two megabytes.
React Three Fiber renders it live, lit like a product shot, driven by what the buyer chooses. Nothing is pre-rendered.

About two weeks with your CAD, your product line, and the decision the 3D has to help a buyer make — configure, compare, or simply believe.
Output: a one-page pilot brief. The model set, the interactions, where it embeds.
02
One product, live in the browser, on your site: a configurator, a simulator, or a real-time render, built on the real geometry and lit like the photography.
Output: a running build, a link you can send, and a number you can check against the old renders.
03
The next product, the next interaction — colorways, accessories, exports, a hand-off to the people who take the order. Nothing gets rebuilt; it gets extended.
Output: a roadmap in the order the buyer feels the difference.

A page where a buyer builds the product they want, choosing colorway, size and accessories, and sees it live in 3D from any angle before ordering. Ours render in the browser from the product's own CAD.
Your own product files: the STEP, the FBX, or the GLB from a configurator you already run. We don't re-model a likeness.
Hundreds of megabytes of CAD become a file under two megabytes. The three Sorinex racks on /3d are 1.8 MB, 0.7 MB and 1.4 MB, Draco-compressed and lazy-loaded.
Three pieces, all in build: a rack viewer on the real CAD, a team-colorway customizer, and an interactive rack configurator. You can orbit three of the racks on /3d today.
