Stakes
Puma came to WTTR Studios to direct and execute a 3D launch campaign for a shoe release built on the classic show Thundercats — a license with real nostalgia weight and a fanbase that would notice if it felt generic. The brief was to transport the shoes and fans back into the show's most iconic locations, drawing on fan favorites Lion-O, Cheetara, and the Cat's Lair. I worked on the project through WTTR, on the photogrammetry, simulation, and design side.
The build
My part was the photogrammetry scanning of the actual shoes, the simulation work, and design across the campaign. From those scans, the team built pixel-perfect 3D digital doubles with full retopology, modeling, and surfacing to hold up at print resolution, then set them inside five complete CG environments pulled directly from the show's world. Lit and rendered across the whole campaign, it added up to 18 vertical and 18 horizontal hero stills at up to 5760×3840px, plus 30 ProRes hero videos across six cuts per storyline.

Release
The campaign shipped on Puma's own site and was featured on their home page, with placement at Footlocker, Kids Footlocker, Foot Action, and Champs.
