Stakes
Puma approached us to direct and execute a 3D launch campaign for a shoe release built on the classic show Thundercats — a license with real nostalgia weight and a fanbase that would notice if it felt generic. The brief was to transport the shoes and fans back into the show's most iconic locations, drawing on fan favorites Lion-O, Cheetara, and the Cat's Lair.
The build
In collaboration with WTTR Studios, we scanned the actual shoes via photogrammetry, then built pixel-perfect 3D digital doubles from that data — full retopology, modeling, and surfacing to hold up at print resolution. Around them, we built five complete CG environments pulled directly from the show's world, then lit and rendered everything to carry the campaign across stills and video alike: 18 vertical and 18 horizontal hero stills at up to 5760×3840px, plus 30 ProRes hero videos across six cuts per storyline.

Release
The campaign shipped directly on Puma's own site and was featured on Puma's home page, plus placement at Footlocker, Kids Footlocker, Foot Action, and Champs — real, verifiable retail distribution for a major athletic brand, not a projection.
